JS Left Nauvoo for Carthage

JS and others left Nauvoo, Illinois, for Carthage, Illinois, to answer riot charge. Just outside Carthage, JS received order from Thomas Ford to relinquish all state arms held by Nauvoo Legion. JS returned to Nauvoo to fulfill order. JS and party left again for Carthage, arriving around midnight.
