General conference in Nauvoo, Illinois, appointed Robert B. Thompson as general church clerk and Almon Babbitt as presiding authority in Kirtland, Ohio. It also appointed Reynolds Cahoon, Elias Higbee, and Alpheus Cutler as committee to build Nauvoo temple.
