I, a Justice of the Peace, in and  for the City of , in the said do certify that  and Hannah his wife, whose signatures appear to the foregoing deed, and  who are personally known to me to be the persons described in, and who executed  the same, did severally acknowledge that they had executed the said con veyance for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. And the said  Hannah Markham having been by me made acquainted with the conten ts of the said Deed, and examined separate and apart from her said  , acknowledged that she had executed the same, and relinquis hed her dower to the premises therein conveyed, voluntarily, freely and  without compulsion of her said .
Given under my hand and seal, this First day of March in the  year of our Lord eight hundred and forty Two
