Saturday 28th. He spent the morning in comparing &  correcting his journal.— Eldr. called this morning  to <see> him, he lives in , Kentucky, about 3 miles  above , he had been biten by a mad dog some  three or four years since, & had spent much upon physi cian’s and received some benefit by so doing; but is much  afflicted notwithstanding; he came here that he might receive  the benefit of the united prayers of the church; accordingly  we prayed for and laid our hands on him in the  name of the Lord Jesus Christ, & anointed him with  oil, & rebuked his affliction praying our Heavenly Father  to hear and answer our prayers according to our  faith in him, even so, Amen.
