Eldr. was nominated & seconded to supply  the place of Eldr. in the high council  of , vote called and carried unanimously.
Eldr. was nominated & seconded to supply  the place of <Eldr.> in the high council of  , vote call[ed] of the respective authorities and  carried unanimously.
Eldr. was nominated & seconded to  fill the place of Eldr. in the high council  of , vote called and carried unanimously  Eldr. was nominated & seconded to sup ply the place of vote called and  carried unanimously.
The newly elected counsellors were then called forw ard and ordained in order as they were elected  under the hands of Presidents J. Smith Jn  & to the office of high priests and couns ellors in the high council of the Stake of Zion.
Many great and glorious blessings were pronounced  upon the heads of these councillors by who  was mouth on the occasion.— Next proceeded to  supply the deficiencies in the high council.  Eldr’s & were nominated  & seconded to fill the places of Eldrs.  and for the time being.— vote  was called and carried unanimously:
Eldr. , & , were nom inated & seconded to serve as door keepers in the , vote called and carried unanimously  by the whole assembly. Presdt’s J. Smith Jn., ,  , , & , were nomin ated & seconded to draft rules & regulations to govern  the ; vote was called and carried  by the unanimous voice of the whole assembly.
The question was then agitated whether whispering  should be allowed in our councils & assemblies;  a vote was called and carried unanimously in  the negative, that not only whispering, but loud talking  shall be prohibited in our assemblies except by  those who are called upon, or ask permission to speak [p. 174]
