Monday May 26 27th. 1844 About 8 o’clock I started on horse back— with a few frie[n]ds and passing by the pur[s]ued my course towa[r]ds — thinking it best to meet my enemies— before the court and have the my Indictments invstigat [investigated]. after I had passed— my on the prairie. <most of> The brother following brothers joind me and the remainder soon after my arrival at .
