each neighbourhood or settlement of Saints within the bounds of this Stake to go to the house of prayer on the Lord’s Holy day and offer up their sacraments &c. agreeably to the Sabbath’s day commandment and also that they meet together oft for preaching and prayer.
8th Resolved— that. Brs , , and , be appointed, a committee to notify the several Branches with in the bounds of this Stake of the above proceedings and furnish each Branch with a copy of the same.
9. Resolved— that this Council adjourn to meet next Saturday at 9 o’clock A.M.

At a meeting of the High Council of Zion on the 3rd of March convened according to adjournment.
Present.
Presidents

laid the following before the Council for their approval or disaproval namely.
“To the High Council in Zion. Feb 24th 1838
Is the Council willing for me to furnish Br with the North East corner of Block No 6. in , containing Lots No 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6, apprised at $285. free of expence. Also, for me to furnish Br. Joseph Smith jr with the South East corner of Block No 7, containing Lots No 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 apprised at $220, free of expence. There is a house and a claim upon one of these lots that I may have to buy [p. 102]
