Personally appeared before me and maketh oath and saith that the facts stated in the foregoing  petition are true as far as stated from his own knowledge, and as far as  stated from the information of others he believes to be true, given under my hand  this 15th day of March A D. 1839.
Sworn to & subscribed to before me abraham  Shafer a Justice of the peace within and for in the State of  Missouri this 15th day of March 1839.
