A conference was held at , Ohio. , President & clerk. “Resolved that , Bishop of & his councillers be a committee constituted a company to Establish a press in and publish a religious paper “entitled “TheOliveLeaf,” and that the saints adjacnt be solicited to carry the above resolution into effect.”
<30> Saturday 30[th] I attended the Session of the City Council. & spoke against the council’s remitting a fine assessed against s, by a jury of twelve men, considering that the jury might be as sensible men as the councillers, any of the city council & I asked the council not to remit the fine. were elected councillors & & Aldermen.
