Ordained an elder, 11 Apr. 1839. Moved to Lee Co., Iowa Territory, by 1840. Moved to Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois, by 1842. Wife died, 1842. Married second Nancy Brown, 3 Oct. 1843, in Nauvoo. Ordained a high priest, by 22 Dec. 1845. Moved to Pottawattamie Co., Iowa, by 1850. Moved to Indian Creek, Mills Co., Iowa, by 1860. Baptized into Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4 Aug. 1861. Moved to Grove Township, Pottawattamie Co., by July 1879. Died in Pottawattamie Co.
