Biography

1804–17 Nov. 1875. Vessel trade manager, tannery operator, surveyor, farmer. Born in Killingworth, Middlesex Co., Connecticut, 1804. Married Jerusha Stevens, 15 Oct. 1829, in Killingworth. Served as brigadier general in Connecticut state militia. Served as Connecticut state representative from East Berlin, Hartford Co. Moved to Franklin, Somerset Co., New Jersey, by 1850; to Westfield, Richmond Co., New York, by 1860; and to Berlin, Hartford Co., by 1870. Died in Berlin.
