1812–18 Dec. 1847. Constable, deputy sheriff. Born in Kentucky. Served as constable and deputy sheriff, by Nov. 1834, in McDonough Co., Illinois. Married first Cynthia Ann Walker, 20 Nov. 1834, in McDonough Co. Wife died, 1842. Studied law, by 1843. Married second Nancy H. Stewart, 3 Sept. 1844, in McDonough Co. Candidate for McDonough Co. recorder, 1847. Died in McDonough Co.
