Statement Issued Declaring Saints’ Intentions to Leave State

24 September 1845

Church leaders met with commission from Quincy, Illinois, in Nauvoo, Illinois; Brigham Young and Willard Richards published statement declaring their intentions to leave state so long as peace was restored and Latter-day Saints received assistance in selling their property.
