Sec. 1. Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of , that the several Laws & Ordinances heretofore enacted, to wit: An Ordinance entitled “An Ordinance in relation to Hawkers, Pedlars, & public Shows and Exhibitions” passed November 27th. 1841; So much of an Ordinance entitled “An Ordinance regulating auctions in the City of ” passed February 12th. 1842, as has not been repealed by an Ordinance passed April 9th. 1842, entitled “An Ordinance amending an Ordinance entitled ‘An Ordinance regulating Auctions in the City of :’ An Ordinance entitled ‘An Ordinance to regulate Taverns & Ordinaries in the City of ,’ passed April 9th. 1842; An Ordinance entitled ‘An Ordinance in relation to Stores and Groceries,’ passed April 22nd. 1842; and an Ordinance entitled ‘An Ordinance to amend an Ordinance entitled ‘An Ordinance to regulate Taverns & Ordinaries in the City of ,’ passed April 22nd. 1842, & every part <​thereof​> be, & the same are hereby repealed.
