KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS—That Ethan Kimball of the county of , and State of , has this day for and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred and thirty dollars in hand paid by Eli Houghton—— of the County of and State of , granted bargained and sold unto the said Eli— Houghton—— a certain lot or piece of land lying and situated in Kimball’s addition to in said county and state last mentioned, as will more fully appear by refference to the plat of said addition, being lot No. Thirteen <(13)> in block No. three (3) in said addition to the Town of .
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD The above described lot or piece of land with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the said Eli Houghton— his heirs and assigns forever.
And the said ETHAN KIMBALL for himself his heirs and assigns administrators and executors, do warrant and forever defend the title of the lot or piece of land against every person or persons claiming by, through, or under him in any manner whatsoever. or any other persons whatever
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF He has hereunto set his name and affixed his seal this 12th day of April—— in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-three
