We send you Bro Perkins’s two faithful Brethren who will give you all the information which is within, our Knowledge, of the proceedings of our Enemies and as we have not heard or received Communication from as regards the course we should pursue, we now ask your counsel & you will pleas forwa[r]d, pr Bro Perkin’s. We should have sought your Counsel Sooner only on account of High water please Communicate in writing the Course we in this part of the should pursue. The Breth[r]en in these parts war are in good faith, Spirits & health, gene[r]ally & may be relied on
