The People of the State of , To the of said , Greeting:
You are hereby commanded to SUMMON if to be found in your , personally to be and appear before our Judge of our Circuit Court of said County of on the first day of the next term thereof, to be holden at the Court House, in the town of on the Third Monday in the month of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-[blank] to answer an appeal obtained by from a judgment rendered against said , in favor of the said before Joseph Smith, Mayor &c, Esq., a Justice of the Peace of said , on the Tenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-three for the sum of ninety nine dollars and [blank] cents, and Eleven dollars and 59 cents, costs of suit. And have you then and there this writ, and make return of the manner in which you execute the same.
