Oliver Cowdery, Ziba Peterson, Parley P. Pratt, and Peter Whitmer Jr. arrived in Geauga County, Ohio, from New York en route to mission to unorganized territory west of Missouri. Remained for several weeks to preach and baptized more than one hundred individuals, including Sidney Rigdon and Frederick G. Williams, before moving on, accompanied by Williams.
