O Israel! O Israel!
In all your abidings,
Prepare for your Lord
When you hear these glad tidings.

Hymn 17 • To him that made the world
HYMN 17. P. M.

1 To him that made the world,
The sun the moon and stars,
And all that in them is,
With days, and months and years;
To Him that died
That we might live,
Our thanks and songs
We freely give.

2 Our hope in things to come,
The Spirit’s quick’ning power,
Should turn our hearts to him,
Where heavenly blessings are:
That we may sing
Of things above,
And always know,
That God is love.

3 When he comes down in heav’n,
And earth again is blest,
Then all the heirs of him,
Will find the promis’d rest. [p. 23]
O Israel! O Israel!

Prepare for your Lord
When you hear these glad tidings.
