This Indenture made and entered into, this Thirteenth day of June in the year of our Lord, one thousand Eight hundred and forty two between Joseph Smith, as sole Trustee in Trust, for the , of the County of , and State of of the first part, and of the County of and aforesaid, of the Second part, Witnesseth, that the said Joseph Smith, party of the First part, for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars, to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land situate [p. 402]
