Married first Sarah Harvey, 31 May 1810, at Plymouth, Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania. Appointed presiding elder in Methodist church of Ontario District (area near Palmyra, Wayne Co., New York), 1824. Lived in Berwick, Columbia Co., Pennsylvania, 1825–1834. Wife died, 1832. Married second Lydia Bunting, 24 Jan. 1837. Resided in New York City, 1837. Published Northern Christian Advocate for several years. Moved to Mount Holly, Burlington Co., New Jersey, 1852. Died in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania.
