The witness further states that most of the  accused appeared to be determined to persue  thire [their] own <way> whether right or wrong Brother [blank] then  was called forward & stated the accused appeared  to manifest a hard spirit against the Presidents  of the church & the High Councill Broth [blank] Dust[in]  testimony agress with above testimony. Broth  [blank] Sawyer was called forward he stated that he  herd Brother Norris say those in authority were  against him & if he could not establish an  order of things here to his mind he would go  out among the gentiles & do it Broth [blank] Knight  confirmed the testimony of the above named  witness the accused called forward Broth  Freeman he stated he had attended a number  of the meeting of the accused he saw nothing out  of the way Brother agrees with the witness  above but says at the time he attended the meetings  he did not know that they received revelations for the mselves Broth was also called forward  but agrees with the two witnesses above. Broth  Preston was called forward by the accuser he testified  that <the> accused refused to admit him into thire [their]  meeting & that others were rejected also Broth  J Smith  testafy th[e]y attened a meeting of the accused  & discovered some things wrong which they felt  to rebuke Brother L Pery was called forward  stated that he had attend meetings frequently  with the accused herd some of them speak against  the heads of the Church & that Broth Joseph had  many things to repent of the witness further states  that he heard one of the accused say he thought some  put to much st[r]ess on the priesthood [p. 262]
