Baptized into LDS church by 1838, when he moved to Daviess Co., Missouri. Involved in election-day brawl at Gallatin, Daviess Co., 6 Aug. 1838. Moved to Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois, by Nov. 1843; to Itasca, Johnson Co., Illinois, by Nov. 1846; to Jefferson Co., Illinois, by June 1850; to Burnet Co., Texas, by Feb. 1857; and to Kerr Co., Texas, by June 1862. Died at Spring Creek, Kerr Co.
