unto your brethren in Zion, in love greeting,  that I have called you also to preside over Zion  in mine own due time: therefore let them  cease wearying me concerning this matter.  Behold, I say unto you, that your brethren in  Zion begin to repent, and the angels rejoice  over them; nevertheless, I am not well pleased  with many things: and I am not well pleased  with my servant , neither  with my servant ; and the bish op also: and others have many things to re pent of: but verily I say unto you, that I the  Lord will contend with Zion and plead with  her strong ones, and chasten her, until she  overcomes and is clean before me: for she  shall not be removed out of her place: I the  Lord have spoken it: Amen.

Section 86 • Revelation, 6 August 1833 [D&C 98]

Revelation given August, 1833.

1 Verily I say unto you, my friends, fear not,  let your hearts be comforted; yea, rejoice ev ermore, and in every thing give thanks, wait ing patiently on the Lord: for your prayers  have entered into the ears of the Lord of Sab aoth, and are recorded with this seal and tes tament: the Lord hath sworn and decreed that  they shall be granted: therefore he giveth this  promise unto you, with an immutable coven ant, that they shall be fulfilled, and all things  wherewith you have been afflicted, shall work  together for good, and to my name’s glory  saith the Lord.
