Stewards over the “revelations and commandments” of God  have fallen” yet there are some standing to whom belongs  and to them alone the work of publishing these Books  I would be more particular on this subject in consequence  of having information from Elder of the inten tion of the Brethren in to publish the same. I  would say be careful in this matter and do not take any  steps in this affair unless you have authority from the  propper source. I would also observe that my advise is  to afford us all the assistance you possibly can in order  the same may be printed in this place and that those  and those alone may be responsible for the same into whose  charge they were committed
I suppose it will be altogether unneccessary for  me to press the subject on your attention; hoping that there  exists a determination in the breasts of all the saints to  hearken to council and to forward the work of the Lord  by all their exertions
For the prosperity and advancement of the Gospel  we have, after much tribulation, imprisonment & death,  secured a footing once more and have organized the  Church in this place, to which we shall welcome all  those, who love the prosperity of Zion, and we give them  a pressing invitation to such— to come and help us— “for  the Lord of Hosts is with us— the God of Jacob is our refuge—  therefore we will not fear though the mountains be cast  into the midst of the sea
We are frequently receiving letters from our Brethren  in , who continue to be prospered in their mission  and have gain them many friends
They solicit the prayers of all the Saints— that the  authorities of the may be moved upon to do  justice to a suffering and afflicted people
I am with great respect  Yours in the bonds of the Gospel
