Appointment of Church Historians and Clerks

6 April 1838

Thomas B. Marsh sustained as president pro tempore of church in Zion, with David W. Patten and Brigham Young appointed as assistant presidents. George W. Robinson appointed as general church recorder and clerk, as well as scribe for First Presidency; Ebenezer Robinson appointed recorder and clerk for Zion church and high council; John Corrill and Elias Higbee appointed historians, Far West, Caldwell County, Missouri.
