Clay County, Missouri, militia company under Colonel William Dunn encamped near Far West, Caldwell County, Missouri; Dunn informed JS that armed force of vigilantes was en route from Carroll to Daviess County, Missouri; JS requested that company of Latter-day Saint soldiers prepare to leave for Daviess County.
