This indenture. Made this the twenty second day of July in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and forty three Between of the County of and State of Illinois of the first part and Elijah Buckwaltar of the County of and State of Pennsylvania. Witnesseth, That the said for and in consideration of the sum of Six hundred dollars, lawful money of the , to him in hand well and truly paid by the said Elijah Buckwalter the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, release convey and confirm unto the said Elijah Buc[k]Walter and his heirs and assigns All that piece or parcel of land lying [in] , Illinois, <being the> South West quarter of Section thirteen in Township [p. 462]
