Sir,
Yours of the 10th inst in relation to the Judgement in favor of the against Joseph Smith, deceased, is recieved. I have seen on the subject, who informs me that when <about the time> he was removed as District Attorney, he was prepared, to file a creditors Bill <in of Equity> founded on this Judgement & the return on the execution, to under which he expected to make large collections. He informs me that Smith bought, & paid for, considerable real estate, in & <also> in the vicinity of , & <that he> had deeds taken, sometimes to his , & sometimes to his children, & others. He thinks you can trace them out these lands by making proper inquiries. He says Smith [p. [1]]
