cause of this great evil. ought ye not to have done even as I commanded you. and after ye had planted the vineyard and the hedge round about and set watchman apon the wall thereof. built the tower also and set a watchman apon the tower and watched for my vineyard and not have fallen asleep. that the enimy should come upon you. and behold the watchman apon the tower would have seen the enemy while he was yet a fare off. and then you could have made redy and kept the enemy from braking down the hedge thereof and saveed my vineyerd from the hands of the distroyer. and the Lord of the vineyard said unto and <one of> his servents go and together the resedue of my servents and take all the [p.
