Served as Illinois senator from Henry Co., Jan. 1853–Mar. 1854. Appointed corresponding secretary for Henry Co. Agricultural Society at its organization, 16 Feb. 1853. Moved to Geneseo, Henry Co., by 1860. Died in Geneseo.
