Biography
2 Oct. 1822–23 Oct. 1899. Laborer, drug store worker, teamster. Born in Lower Canada. Defendant in State of Illinois v. D. Brown and Edwards, 15 Nov. 1842, in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois. Married Harriet St. John, 29 Jan. 1846, in Nauvoo. Served in Mormon Battalion Company E, 1846–1847. Moved to Washington, Buchanan Co., Missouri, by 1850; to Virginia City, Storey Co., Nevada, by 1870; and to Watsonville, Santa Cruz Co., California, by 1880. Died in Watsonville.
