Married Sally Norton, 11 July 1816, in Farmington, District of Maine. Served as pastor for First Universalist Society in Providence, Providence Co., Rhode Island. Returned to Maine. Joined Shakers, 1835; published Familiar Dialogues on Shakerism, 1838. Moved to Buxton, York Co., Maine, by 1860. Died in Buxton.
