Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Wilford Woodruff, 25 Mar. 1835, in Henry Co. Ordained an elder, 1838. Moved to Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois, May 1842. Member of Nauvoo Legion. Ordained a seventy, 12 Apr. 1843. Served missions to Tennessee, 1843, and to Alabama, 1844. Moved to Pottawattamie Co., Iowa, by Oct. 1848. Died in or near Pottawattamie Co.
