1792–Feb. 1860. Farmer. Born in Pennsylvania. Married Elizabeth McBride, 27 Oct. 1829, in Wayne Co., Ohio. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, possibly by 1831. Moved to Missouri, June 1834. Moved to Hancock Co., Illinois, by 1842. Accused by JS of participating in riot, 13 June 1843; case dismissed, 17 June 1843. Moved to Tom’s Mill, Clark Co., Missouri, 1846. Moved to Lee Co., Iowa, after 1847. Likely died near Croton, Lee Co.
