ca. 1806–20 Jan. 1849. Land commissioner, mayor. Married first Ann Selina P. Johnson, 14 Nov. 1833, in New Hampshire. Migrated to Galveston, Galveston Co., Republic of Texas, 1839. Served as mayor of Galveston, 1840–1841. Married second Rebecca Brown, 16 May 1843, in Harris Co., Republic of Texas. Served on board of health in Houston, Harris Co., 1846. Died at Houston.
