In Consideration of Two hundred and thirty dollars to me to be paid as follows viz: Thirty dollars on demand.— One hundred dollars with interest on the first day of November Eighteen hundred and forty— And one hundred dollars with interest on the first day of November Eighteen hundred and fortyfour.——
I of Hancock County State of Illinois do hereby obligate myself— my heirs— executors— administrators and assigns to make and execute a good and sufficient warrantee deed to [blank] his heirs— executors, administrators or assigns for all that lot of land known on the map of Said Town of as Lot No three in Block One hundred and fortyone.
And for the performance of this obligation I hereby bind myself my heirs— executors— administrators and assigns in the penal sum of Four hundred and sixty dollars.——
This bond to be in full force and virtue provided the above mentioned payments be well and duly made at the periods of time above specified, Otherwise to be null and void.—
Witness my hand and seal this twentyfifth day of September One thousand Eight hundred and thirtynine.
