Know all men, by these Presents, That we, T[homas] J. Hunter & are held and firmly bound unto The City of in the sum of One Hundred dollars; for which payment, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, firmly by these presents Sealed with our seals, and dated this Seventh day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-two
The Condition of this obligation is such That if the above bounden T. J. Hunter shall pay and satisfy whatever judgment may be rendered by the Circuit Court of , upon the dismissal or trial of a certain appeal to the Circuit Court, this day taken by him from a judgment rendered by the Municipal Court of the City of in Esq., [blank] Justice of the Peace within and for said , on the twenty ninth day of November— in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-two wherein The City of is Plaintiff and T. J. Hunter Defendants, for the sum of Ten dollars fine Debt, and Eight—— dollars costs of suit, in favor of the said and against the said Hunter then this obligation shall be void; otherwise, it shall remain in full force and virtue.
