Know all men by these presents that we principal and Security— both of the County of and state of Illinois are held and firmly bound unto the Mayor and Council of the city of to and for the use of the people of the said City of in the sum of one Five hundred Dollars to be paid to the said Mayor and Councillors— to which payment well and truly to be made we bind ourselves and each of us and each of our heirs— Executors and administrators firmly by these presents Witness our hands and seals this 20th day of Feby AD 1843—
The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound shall perform and discharge all the duties required by law to be performed by his as a Constable in and for the said City of aforesaid and shall Justly and fairly account for and pay over all Monies that may come to his hands under any process or otherwise by virtue of his office Then this obligation to be void otherwise to remain in full force— Signed Sealed and delivered in presents of
