Now if the said City of shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid, the amount of said note according to the tenor and effect thereof, when due the said Doth bind himself his heirs, executors and administrators, to make, or cause to be made, to the said City of . a good and sufficient Deed for the above described lot upon or before the first day of May A.D (1845) one thousand eight hundred and forty five and then this bond shall become null and void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
