getting our publications printed elsewhere. The have had more money out of us than of any other people. When we combine our means and get the same union amongst the brethren as there is here, we can do good to ourselves. Every person is capable of adding in some degree to the common stock of knowledge, or of laboring and doing something for the benifit of society, and it would be much better for us if we had our printing establishment so fixed that we could draw ideas from every source, and do something to draw money from the world for our benifit. In a short time we shall be enabled to print books, as cheap (and with better matter) than can be got any where else in the world. We can publish books for the instruction of our children [p. [315]]
