This Indenture made and entered into, This twenty third day of November in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty three between Joseph Smith, as sole Trustee in Trust, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, of the County of , and State of Illinois of the First part, and Sally Murdock of the County of and State aforesaid, of the Second part, Witnesseth, that the said Joseph Smith, party of the First part, for and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred dollars, to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto the said Sally Murdock party of the second part, her heirs and assigns forever, all that tract or parcel of land, situate and being [p. 92]
