your dead be judged according to their Works whether they themselves have attended to the ordinances in their own propria personas, or by the means of their own Agent, according to the which God has prepared for their Salvation from before the foundation of the World, according to the records which they have kept concerning their Dead. & it says at conclusion, Let us therefore, as a & a people, & as Latter day Saints, offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness, & let us, present in his when it is finished, or Book, containing the Records of our dead, which shall be worthy of all acceptation.
