Monday, April 11th, A. L. 5842, A. 1842— 9 o’clock A. M.
Special meeting. Lodge met pursuant to adjournment. Present— , W. M. p. t.; , T. W. p. t.; , J. W.; , S.; , T.; , S. D.; , J. D. p. t.; Lewis Hyde, visiting brother; a[n]d , , , & , E. A. Masons. An E. A. Lodge was the[n] opened for the transaction of business, & , , & , having been previously balloted for, were duly initiated into the first degrees of masonry. Lodge called off until 1 o’clock P. M.— 1 o’clock, P. M. Lodge called to labor. No further business appearing in this degree, the lodge closed, & opened in the second degree of masonry, and , , & , were passed to the degree of Fellow Craft. No further business appearing in this degree the lodge closed, to stand closed until to morrow morning at 9 o’clock.
