Friday 23rd. Septr. 1842, four oClock P. M.
Several of the City Council met, & upon calling the names, it appeared there was not a quorum, the <next> meeting was appointed to be at 2 oClock P. M., on Monday the 26th. Inst, & the got a list of the names of the absent Members, with instructions to notify them accordingly.
The following Persons were sworn, & took the Oath of Office as Colrs of this , in the absence & stead of the Colrs in whose place they were respectively appointed to act to wit: , , , , , & .
