The company who have enrolled themselves as a body of Horse Lancers to be attached to the first Cohort of th being citizens of Met agreeable to previous appointment in the Town of for the purpose of Electing a captain &c. & who had previously been nominated declined the nomination.
On motion was chosen to be recommended < by Gen B.—> to receive the Nomination for Captain. On motion Morris Phelps was chosen to be recommended <— [2 words illegible]> to receive the nomination for 1st Lieutenant
On motion was chosen to to be recommended <R. A. [2 words illegible]> to receive a nomination for 2ond Lieutenant
On motion Meeting was adjourned until until the 6 of March next at one o’clock
