An ordinance to amend an ordinance entitled “An ordinance to regulate Taverns and ordinaries, in the City of .”
Sec. 1. Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of , That every Tavern or Ordinary Keeper, within the City of , who may neglect to take out a license according to the provisions of the ordinance to which this is an amendment, shall upon conviction thereof, be fin[e]d in the sum of twenty dollars for every month so neglected or refused.
