An Ordinance in relation to the University.
Sec. 1. Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of , That all matters and powers whatever in relation to common schools, and all other institutions of learning, within the City of , be, and the same hereby are transferred from the City Council of the City of , to the Chancellor and Regents of the University of the City of .
Sec. 2. This ordinance to take effect, and be in force, from and after its passage.
