There is one entry recorded 19 February 1845 in the Nauvoo City Treasury Ledger for $1.00 for an order to George W. Langley dated 2 September 1844. This pay order likely corresponds to that entry. Langley’s account in the ledger notes eleven orders on collector dated 2 September 1844 totaling $34.00. This and the two other extant pay orders for Langley dated 2 September 1844 likely correspond to three of those eleven orders.
