There is an entry in the Nauvoo City Treasury Ledger, recorded 20 February 1845, for $3.00 for two orders to Jesse Harmon. This pay order and one of the two extant pay orders for $1.00 for Harmon dated 5 August 1844 likely correspond to this entry. Harmon’s account in the ledger notes nine orders on collector dated 5 August 1844 totaling $21.00. The three extant orders also likely correspond to three of those nine orders.
